I omitted a comma on accident. It should be past, present, not past-present.

Points by mathematical definition, don't exist. A point on a circle is simply a point. It wouldn't make much sense to divide the cirlce up into three sections and say "okay, this point is in the lower hemisphere section". All of them are on a circle, and any one point is just as much on the circle as any other. Therefore, if time is circular, it wouldn't make sense to have a past or present or future designation. It gives a linear sense to something that isn't linear. It only appears linear.

A line by definition has a start point and an end point so that one can make a distinction as to where that point "is". It's either near the beggining, near the end, or in the middle. A circle has none of these and therefore, has no distinction as past, present or future. It's just a circle, or time. However you wanna think about it. There isn't any good way to divide that which neither has beginning nor end nor middle.
