I was a fairly small child and fitted over his knee easily enough. my dad used to give all of my spankings over his knee so it was the only position that I knew. She gave all spankings this way except when she used the cane. The cane was too long for over the knee use so I would have to bend over the arm of the sofa. The last time I got it over the knee I was either late 15 or just turned 16, I can't recall which. It felt pretty childish and embarrassing at this age but I guess it was the intention as me and my younger brother had committed a pretty childish offence and I think mum wanted to show that we would still get a childish punishment.
