I was spanked regularly from 5 through 15. I was spanked less, mostly for getting in trouble in school. She last spanked me 2 weeks before my 20th birthday.

I'm from Malaysia, a rattan cane.

from about 5 until I was 14 or 15

Open hand, wooden spoon or a yardstick (which was the worst)

Fighting, lying, swearing etc

No

Either standing up or bend over. I was only ever hit across the butt

varied, as a youngster only ever 1 or 2 slaps. As an older kid and young teen spankings became harder and more serious to remain effecctive. Either a few with the open hand or for more serious stuff dad gave me big whacks with a yardstick, usually between 4 to 6, they really hurt even as a young teen

7. were you usually spanked until you cried?
yep, dad could make

8. were you spanked in front of siblings or friends?
yes, other brothers

9. did you ever receive two or more spankings for the same offense?
No

10. were you paddled or caned in school?
Not in school
