In my case, I guess the most memorable spankings I got depended on who was giving them, where I was at the time, what implement was used, if there were witnesses and reason.
If I had to rate the three most memorable spankings I received they would be...
1. Getting my bare bottom spanked at school by the teacher I had a crush on in Fifth Grade. I got in trouble for fighting and she gave me a choice of taking a spanking from her or going to the office to get paddled. I chose to let her do it. It was just her and me in the classroom. She had me bend over with my hands on a piano bench. Once I was in position, without saying a word she stood beside me, pulled my pants and underwear down in back, far enough to leave my bottom completely exposed. I had no idea she was going to bare my butt for the spanking. But she had seen me get spanked that way at home as she and her husband were friends with my parents and often came over for cookouts and volleyball and mom spanked me once when they were there. 2. Getting spanked for stealing a candy bar from Kroger in my grandmother's car in the Kroger parking lot at five years old. After having to apologize, Mom took me to the car, sat on the passenger side of the front seat. Then she pulled my pants and underwear down to my ankles, put me across her lap and gave me the longest and probably one of the hardest spankings I had received up to that point. During the spanking, even over all my crying, I heard my grandmother offer mom the hairbrush she had in her purse. After she let me up and I was bawling, struggling to pull my pants up and climb into the back seat of the car which was two door. I never even thought about stealing anything again after that.
3. Being at my best friend's house at eight for a scout meeting. His mother was our Den Leader (they were called Den Mother's at that time). We were misbehaving at the meeting and were kept inside sitting on the couch in the family room, while the other boys were allowed to go outside and play. She called my mother and then promised us both a good spanking when the other boys left. After the others were gone, she came in the family room made us both stand up and she sat down. I was terrified expecting her to do the same to me. She sent him to his room then told me I need to go home, my mother will be giving me another spanking when I get there. As I walked into the driveway, mom was standing in the front door with flyswatter in hand waiting. I started crying all over again. I had to pull my pants back down and she wore my bare sore butt out with that flyswatter. I have no idea how many licks I got. All I know is that flyswatter really hurt more than usual on an already sore butt.
I had a lot of memorable spankings, but those three top the list.
