1. I was spanked from 4 through 15 at home. I received one at school prior to graduating at 18.
2. The hand at first, later a homemade brush size and shaped paddle and occasionally the switch or belt.
3. Lying, disobedience, smoking (when older) disrespect, etc.
4. I was almost always spanked bare at home. The rare public spankings were over clothing.
5. I was usually across my mother's or father's knee. If the switch or belt was used I would be bent over the end of the bed, sofa or table.
6. I don't think anyone counted. They lasted until I learned my lesson, usually a very red and sore behind.
7. Yes, Though as I got older I tried to be a tough guy which was not overly smart on my part as the severity level increased accordingly.
8. I was an only child so normally my spankings were private, however, in public areas of the house often the kitchen or living room. A few times relatives, cousins, aunts, uncles walked in while I was being spanked. The first time the spanking stopped immediately and my bare bottom was covered, but after that my spankings continued in front of whoever walked in until finished.
9. Yes a few times. If a babysitter or teacher had to spank me, I usually got another from mom or dad.
10. A few light spankings in grade school from the teachers. Not officially in junior high or high school, but 3 of my high school teachers, shop, history and coach/science teachers, carried me into the locker room, just 3 days before graduation when I was 18. They blocked the door and held me up over the shower turret and told me to look at all the cigarette butts in it and that they knew most were mine. "You thought you got away with it, didn't you?", they said. They were right, I had thought so. They de-panted me and spanked and belted me for that an a dozen or so other misdeeds I thought I had gotten away with. It was not a great experience, very embarrassing and painful, too humiliating to report it or tell anyone.
