How many strokes you get depends what you are being caned for, for three demerits you get three strokes but for breaking serious rules you get more. Were any of yours serious where it was more than 3 strokes? Has dad ever taken his cane to your backside when bottom is still fresh from getting a school caning because you got the cane at school? No there are no rewards that can cancel a demerit but if you have less than three demerits at the end of a term then you start the next term with no demerits. Yes I've had more than three strokes, the most was 6. My parents have never caned me for getting caned at school but I have been caned for getting a poor school report in some subjects. We didnt get caned together we had to wait outside his office to get called in but you could hear the canings being given. We were all crying.
