From age 6 to 15.

2. with what implement were you spanked the majority of the time?
Hand or hairbrush from mother; hand or belt from father and uncle.

3. What were common spanking offenses?
Talking back, neglecting chores even after reminders, occasionally lying.

4. were you spanked bare?
Usually but not always.

5. what was your most common spanking position?
Over the lap for hand or hairbrush; bent over a workbench for the belt.

6. what was the average number of licks you received?
Widely varying. The first time I got the belt it was only two. The most I remember is 20.
7. were you usually spanked until you cried?
Almost always, though there were a few times I did not cry when spanked by my mother.

8. were you spanked in front of siblings or friends?
No siblings but was spanked in front of cousins and friends a few times. Not often.

9. did you ever receive two or more spankings for the same offense?
Only twice that I recall; I was taken back out to the barn for a second session later in the same day.

10. were you paddled or caned in school?
No.

My dad's hand till I was 8 then the paddle.

Disobedience, backtalk, breaching curfew, fighting with brothers, notes from school, lying.

Yes, always.

Over the knee

It varied but an average paddling was about 15 spanks.

Yes, I didn't make it through many of dad's paddlings without crying.

In front of my brothers but never friends.

Very rarely but I remember once getting paddled by my aunt then again later on by my dad.

No
