I got the 'wait until your father gets home' often, but usually not in the morning. This gave me an entire day to think and worry. The first time I was ordered to drop trou for the belt also stands out. And finally, there was one spanking when I was young where my father tried to spread the belt swats out. This only happened once. I got a swat a lecture a swat a lecture, etc. In all it was maybe 4 swats of the belt but the duration sticks in your head. These stand out. The severity of the spanking stand out. My first visit to the principals office for discipline stands out. The whole thi.g of being sent and having to wait to go in to his office.
