I don't believe that the intent of the previous poster was to bash Tippe, she was stating her opinion on how the contest played out. In my most objective observations I'd have to agree that Amanda Williams and Mary Bauer beat Tippe hands down. Their onstage question and swimwear were definitely better. Evening gown was a toss up. But they seemed to have it more together and if we were going by those standards I would have placed them higher. I think this is mostly because the only person that can beat Tippe is herself if that makes sense...If you watched the pageant last year Tippe was definitely much more put together as far as swimsuit and onstage question went. Moreover, she seemed to have a lot more energy and desire for the crown. I don't know if it's all those times being in the pageant and not winning, but I felt like her performance was lackluster this year and the judges awarded her on potential. Potentially I think Tippe could be top 10 at Miss Missouri because of her stunning facial beauty and potential physique (tall, long legs, translates as better swimwear). I believe the judges realized that better interview/speaking skills can be taught, but physical beauty is something that you either have or don't have. Obviously Tippe has it...
