Date Posted: 08:52:51 06/23/13 Sun I have followed the Miss Delaware Pageant for many, many years. I remember when I was 14 or 15 years old and the pageant had its first black contestant; her last name was George from Dover. Stayed in contact with the late Bettye James when she ran the pageant in the 70's and had great success. Now, the Miss Delaware Pageant is having great success in the 2000's. I know I am long winded....with all that said, I will be attending the pageant for the first time this year. How much are the tickets? Can they be bought at the venue?
