Sadly it doesn't surprise me. The girls don't seem as involved as they were 5+ years ago. (NT)No name16:04:40 11/04/13 Mon
I agree it was a lot of work for the Tidds but it was a lot of work for college students and their parents. Weekends are when the girls study and to go to Gillette was an all day affair starting early and getting home late and then having to get up early for school on Monday. The total for all the games was $13,000 and it took 10+ people to run it. I appreciated the visibility Gillette gave to our program but it was a lot of work. I hope the girls can come up with some other worthy fundraiser because it is for them in the long run. (NT)No name11:15:15 11/05/13 Tue
I don't buy it when you say "it's too much work to spare a day" that's a terrible excuse. If they can give up a full day to compete in a local (multiple times throughout the year) then you can spare a day for contributing to the program. Study on the 2 hour drive down. If they can't spare a day I question their commitment to the program and wanting to be Miss New Hampshire. (NT)No name18:23:23 11/05/13 Tue
