Subject: For clarification, Doug Black's treatment in WI had nothing to do with Christina Thompson. He worked with several Miss Wisconsins after her. Where he got a raw deal was getting falsely accused of taking Laura to Fran Skinner and her Dream Team. When MAO found out that Laura had worked with Fran, Amalia and MAO threw a fit and called the WI directors. He got thrown under the bus for Laura working with Fran, which was absolutely ridiculous. Fran and Doug were both helpful to Laura and she would not have won without their help. MAO's fear of Fran is ridiculous and reflects poorly on them.

Yep, and after Laura won Miss America, we were told that Doug could no longer be badged through Wisconsin and he couldn't be involved in our contestants Miss America prep.
