Subject: I agree! I believe Crystal's selection was AS's parting gift and her way of giving the middle finger to everyone else involved in the program as she was being forced out the door. I think Crystal (whose dishonesty makes me unsympathetic toward her) couldn't have dreamed of a better year. It's a year without Amalia, with few expectations and responsibilities compared to other formers, and with people who are offering to help her, financially and otherwise, because they are clamoring for a favorable position in the organization. Nine formers before her were not similarly supported during their years. So, no, I don't feel sorry for Crystal. I feel sorry for the nine who didn't exactly have the year they "dreamed of." | |

I don't think she would have won if the pageant had been fair this year so AS did her a favor and to not have to deal with her is a good thing. There were a few other contestants that I believe would have done better at Miss America. She should enjoy her year without Amalia." on 19:14:12 08/08/15 Sat [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
