To be condescending is to take a position of superiority. In no way did I condescend to you. I have no doubt you went through hell and I appreciate your willingness to speak up. But it doesn't change that people are entitled to their opinions, no matter how distasteful you may find them. And people are entitled to discuss their confusion with one another. I don't believe that we have to ignore what happened to be able to move on in a positive direction. In fact, if we can't make sense of it (for example, in the case of a judging error), we might be doomed to repeat it.
