Subject: We all agree that Fran was a great leader, and that her ability to identify and foster excellence in our contestants is unmatched. I think we would all be happy if she was able to return, but I don't see MAO allowing that to happen. It is unfortunate. Unless somehow Fran and Sam are able make amends, and maybe that is possible with Amalia out of the picture, I'm not sure what the new leadership can do...other than try to do an excellent job. Will it be as good as Fran's organization? Maybe not, but hopefully it will be a vast improvement.

People put her on their judging panel to stop getting badgered by her to judge. You notice none of the big states would send their top people to judge Illinois. Always scrambling for bottom feeder judges. Our program lost a lot when we lost FSL and got stuck with AS for political reasons. Maybe the new group will be smart and invite FSL to the pageant and gain some of her knowledge. Many formers will not get involved until that bridge is mended. WE can only hope. At least the rubbish that was AS, GS and her whole team is finally gone. Amalia was over the top in her paranoia about Fran. And the MAO people have been just as bad. MAO embarrassed itself with the way they refused to attend Caressa Cameron's homecoming, all because Fran was going to be in attendance. Love her or hate her, Fran was 1,000 times better for the program than Amalia could ever hope to be. AND, Miss Illinois titleholders RESPECTED Fran after their year was over.
