In reply to: DM 's message, "Does your dance teacher give your kids corrections after each dance they dance in class? Finding we have no feedback on what to correct or work on and not placing well in championships so surely some criticism is due to give us the opportunity to improve. Wondering others experiences just" on Fri, Feb 21 2025, 12:13:20

Same here….kid going to class, feis placings aren’t great but never gets corrections when dancing seems to be a case of teacher simply not caring or dosent know what corrections to give.

  • No corrections in my school for grade dancers or preopen. They teach the steps and correct dancer if dance steps aren’t correct but no corrections on things like turn out or crossing feet, steps yes but things judges are looking for - no. (NT) -- Dance mum, Fri, Feb 21 2025, 16:51:39
  • Dd was told to cross and turnout. Not taught. Often wonder how tcrg passed. School hasn't a successful dancer. Those who know their worth either transfered or left. Rest happy to skip along (NT) -- Gs, Fri, Feb 21 2025, 17:53:53
  • pur dancers have no turn out. flat on feet and all out if time .. i just dont think our teacher has the ability to teach.. (NT) -- NT, Fri, Feb 21 2025, 17:56:48
