Subject: Strict Teachers Author: Ryan [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 13:58:29 05/24/13 Fri Do you think teachers are stricter at the end of school year? School will be out next week, and for several weeks my teachers have been real cranky and stricter with the rules! They are sending kids to the office more, and several of my teachers have a paddle in their classroom and can take kids out in the hall and gave them swats. I had not got paddled at school all year.... until now. Last week, a teacher gave me three swats for talking in class. Then today I got sent to the office. Two spankings at school in two weeks.... It's not going be fun around here tonight when Mom and Dad get home!! Anyone else have teachers be more strict at end of school? [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]

Was your new paddle given a work out at home? I actually asked PJ this question a day or so ago, if there was more mischief at school near the end of the school year and an uptick in the number of paddlings administered. It may not be that teachers are stricter at school year end, but you & others get too lax as the school year is drawing to a close. My bet would be that the 'talking' incident was not a first-time. First time probably wouldn't call for a paddling--maybe just chewed out & warning. How many times were to told to STOP TALKING before your butt got whacked?
