OUR MILD MANNERED INNOCENT LITTLE TURTLE GOT IN A FIGHT AT SCHOOL TODAY. I STILL AM NOT SURE OF THE DETAILS BUT I HEAR IT HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH A GIRL WHO KNEW?

I KNOW MR. WALTERS PADDLED HIM HARD AND HE ALSO GOT SUSPENDED. I KNOW HIS MOM HAD TO COME PICK HIM UP. THAT IS ALL I KNOW FOR NOW.

OK, I FINALLY TALKED TO TURTLE.

HE SAID THERE IS A GIRL THAT HE THINKS HE LIKES. I WILL LET HIM TELL ABOUT THAT. HE SAID HE WAS TALKING TO HER AND ANOTHER KID CAME UP AND PUSHED HIM OUT OF THE WAY AND STARTED TALKING TO HER. WELL, TURTLE SHOVED BACK AND A SHOVING MATCH CAME OF IT. FINALLY THEY ENDED UP ON THE FLOOR ROLLING AROUND. MR. WALTERS BROKE THEM UP.

TURTLE GOT FIVE FROM MR. WALTERS AND IS SUSPENDED FOR THREE DAYS.

HIS MOM AND STEP DAD SORT OF TOOK TURTLE'S SIDE. HE SAID HIS STEP DAD SAID IT STARTED AS SORT OF SELF-DEFENSE BUT TURTLE DID LET IT GET OUT OF CONTROL. TURTLE SAID HIS STEP DAD FELT THAT MR. WALTERS' SPANKING WAS A SUFFICIENT LESSON AND SO, GET THIS, NO SPANKING FOR TURTLE!

TURTLE AND HIS MOM AND STEP-DAD ARE ALL GOING TO THE SCHOOL TOMORROW TO TALK TO MR. WALTERS TO SEE IF HE WILL RESCIND THE SUSPENSION AS TURTLE HAS SOME TESTS ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. TURTLE AGREED HE WOULD OFFER TO SERVE A COUPLE OF SATURDAY DETENTIONS IN EXCHANGE. IF TURTLE REMAINS SUSPENDED THEN HE WILL HAVE A BUNCH OF EXTRA CHORES TO WORK ON. MR. WALTERS IS A FAIR GUY - I THINK HE WILL LET TURTLE BACK IN SCHOOL.

TURTLE SORT OF DODGED A BULLET O THIS ONE. HE HAS A GREAT STEP-DAD!

caleb got it right. i did do detention yesterday and i hated it but it was better than being suspended i guess.

Her name is megan. i like her and she thinks she likes me too. We are just talking right now.

Dad was upset that i let the fight get out of control but he says i had a right to defend myself. he felt mr. Walters had sufficiently punished me for all of it.
