But I can't just walk away, can I? I mean, Lisa (that's her name) is just great. She's real pretty and just makes me smile and I can't stop thinking about her. She says she feels the same way. They are really popular, so I can understand that Lisa things it would be cool. She also tells me that they always give their girlfriends little presents, like necklaces or earrings. She just texted me and asked if I wanted to come to the park to meet her and some friends. I'm pretty sure I know who they are. I told her maybe. What's even worse is that Linus (kid that lives next door) was over and now wants to go with me. He also thinks they're cool. This really sucks. Last time I accidentally talked to one of those Rocket kids dad was already mad. He keeps telling me to stay away from them or he's going to give me the spanking of my life. But she was really happy that I had decided to come and told everybody I was her boyfriend. I was happy. I am happy. Of course, there has to be a catch. Sometime next week, you know like Monday or Tuesday, all the guys meet and do something special for their girlfriends. I have no idea what this is about, but they meet at 10. Bad timing. I actually have to be somewhere else at that time... Lisa asked me to go. She said, if I want to be her boyfriend, then I have to do this for her. I asked why, but she just said that I obviously didn't care about her if I have to ask. I don't want to lose her! If I don't go, she'll be angry, because I "don't care about her". Linus wants me to go. He says he wouldn't want to miss such an opportunity. It is obvious that he loves those kids. Nobody knows that I met them. This is good.
