Actually for women and having a nice healthy figure it is best if possible to start around 6 years old to help in mold and shape their figures as they grow up. Wearing a corset is actually very helpful to help mold and shape a women's figure.

Generally at 12 it is best to be probably in a lighter girdle with some very moderate support then as you get older around 18 to say 26 got into a more moderate girdle, then at 26 and for life you really should be everyday in a vintage girdle like Rago 6210. The benefits are totally amazing.
