I don't wear bras, but I've seen a lot of pics on the internet,
and most wear the bra OVER the girdle, I'm guessing maybe 90%.

Since I have seen it both ways, I guess it is a matter of preference.

Since most long line bras have at least a 2 inch elastic waistband,
that would provide a more secure fit.
If both have wide waistbands, I guess it is trial and error to find which works best.
