I love my Custommaid 299. My main complaint is that the garters are attached a bit low on the leg. The other thing to be careful of is the sizing chart for NY Lingerie. If you look they list a 30 as med and as a large, a 36 as 2x and 3x and just 36. There are two listings for a size 40, and 2 for size 42. I called then on this and they never bothered to change it. I did have to send my first one back, but they were very good, and very prompt about the return. I have spoken to then on two other occasions for orders so there would be no confusion about sizing and they are very friendly and helpful. But do check with the sizing that they show on the pull down menu for their girdles. But most of all, enjoy as i do every time I wear it . The Custommaid 682 is a great girdle as well. I think it reflects a truer sizing chart on the website at NY Lingerie
