Nicky;

I searched http://www.corsetiere.net - Ivy Leaf to find what Ivy said - is it possible you can find the page and post a link to it?

Women back around the late 1960's early 70s with the burn the bra and anti girdle were during that time fed a lot of anti foundation propaganda. Women in truth would be really pleasantly surprised how wearing daily a decent vintage girdle does really empower them not the other way.

I believe women back during the Golden Age of Girdles did really know this it just during that time was never talked about. From what I remember during that time women really did love being well encased everyday is a girdle. Wearing a girdle for women back then they found their posture was much improved, their clothes fit so much better, and wearing a girdle had a really surprising benefit on their relationships.

I also believe when searching around on the web that you are seeing more and more webpage and articles concerning vintage girdles and their benefits. I believe over a period of time girdles will little by little start to make a come back, but it is important to get the positive message out for women to learn how beneficial being everyday really is.

Spanx I agree is actually a waste of money you might as well not even be girdled at all - Spanx is way too light and just does not give a women needed stomach and back support and do what vintage girdles will do for a woman's figure. The only positive thing I have about Spanx is that Spanx has begin to also bring women back to girdles.

>>Men are very visual and wearing a vintage girdle does
