 Lexi I don't know if you are thin, medium or other. I can tell you if you are slender clinching your cheeks before the injection makes the needle stick more painful. I will ask both men and female if they want me to slap their bare butt once before I stick them. By doing this it distracts them from the needle stick and most of the time the injection itself. Almost all the people say that next time they will ask to be slapped before the stick.

In my youth I was told to close my eyes, take a deep breath and hold my nose (as a diversion) when I felt the receptionist (now pa) pinch one cheek just before the needle went into the other.
