Up until I was about 6, the nurse gave me shots in the diaper position. It seemed like the all purpose position for everything....rectal temperatures, suppositories, shots..etc. I felt vulnerable and completely not in control, because my pants and underwear also kept me from moving my legs. I waited nervously, usually whimpering, for what was about to happen. I couldn't see what the nurse was doing, but I knew I'd either be feeling the cold discomfort of a thermometer being stuck up my butt, or the intense sting of a shot. When I got older, the nurse had me lay on my side, with my pants pulled all the way down to my knees. Then I could see it coming unfortunately, the rectal thermometer or a loaded needle.

I had gone fishing with my boy friend and I got a fish hook in my finger. Lucky for me it was right under the skin so they were able to get it out quick. The doctor said you are going to need a tetanus since it was so rusty and I am going to give you an antibiotic injection with some oral antibiotics. The nurse came back in a few minutes carrying 2 syringes. He tells me toile on my stomach on the gurney and slide my shorts down. I barely pulled them down. Sorry but they need to come down and he pulls then down to the middle of my thigh and panties too. My boy friend is looking at my bare butt. I soon forgot as the first needle was stuck in my butt. Just a bee sting. he then starts to really squeeze my other cheek and plunges a longer needle deep in my ass and slowly injects. Holy sh-- that is burning. It does burn. he pulled out the needle and told my boyfriend you might want to work that into her butt cheek. At first when he grabbed it hurt , but then it made it feel better. After a while he pulled up my panties and shorts telling me I had a really awesome butt. I was embarrassed at first but then it felt good. I told him when we get home I want you to continue. That was rocephin you got and it does burn.
