At the beginning you get one type of shot at the site of the bite and usually also in the butt. You usually have to get at least three of those. I have a friend who had to get four, all in the butt, because he didn't have a clear bite mark. He called them very unpleasant. Then there are standard vaccinations, which go in your shoulder, and you get four of them over several weeks. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

[ Edit | View ] Date Posted: Friday, June 24, 2016, 11:00: am Well, look at the bright side, they may be given in the buttock then in the arm and bite site, but at least here in the states, you no longer have to endure the 21 or so day regimen of long needles and thick serum going into your abdomen. I got that as a kid. Not much area to work with on a small abdomen, and yes they were very painful, particularly when you got the injection right next to another shot you'd been given after a few days of shots.
