Once I checked it out I was shocked to find out that it was a fantasy board to be honest. I recently had to receive a few shots for college and I asked my nurse if I could receive them in my butt. My nurse wasn't sure and asked the doctor and other nurses if these vaccines (tetanus, meningitis, hepatitis a and b) could be given in the hip. This board used to have real true stories on it but has since been dominated by pure fantasy. I have to think that some of people are in a fantasy as well. take thi9 from my experience: I have asthma and I get bronchitis all the time and when I see my doctor he says ok you are really sick and you need steroids and an antibiotic as well, but does he get the shot out no he gives me oral prednisone and oral antibiotics for it. and I usually need at least 2 antibiotics if not 3 for same illness and does he ever give me a shot for it no, it is all oral meds. one time I was sick and saw my doctor second time for bronchitis he said I really think you need a steroid shot and I said no I do not want that and he said ok then you do not have to have it. so my doctor did not make me get it. and I had poison ivy this year real bad I had to see my doctor for it and he said that I needed a dose of steroids to treat it and he gave me oral pred for it and he did say if that did not work then I would need a shot to treat it, but the never came to that the oral pred worked great. so as often as I am sick I never got a shot just oral meds and I was offered a shot one and declined and was no problem. so if you ask me most of this fake. now I know that some doctors prefer to give there patients shots as it is quicker, easier and less hassle then making sure there patient takes the pills.
