After my exam the doctor said since I can't remember what shots I have had and how long its been I will have to get a few shots. I was still nude and he sent the nurse to get the needles when she came back I saw 6 of them. The doctor told me to bend over the table. I was nervous about getting so many. By the time I was getting the 4th shot I really started to cry pretty hard. Both the doctor and the nurse told me it was ok to cry and I should not feel embarrassed. By the time I got the last shot I was crying even hard. It did hurt to sit in the car to drive home also. When I got home I just naked and laid in bed on my stomach. From what I have heard it is not that uncommon for men to cry when they have to get so many shots at one time. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

It's not the most common result, but it's not highly unusual either. The size and location of the injection and the level of surprise are contributing factors. I saw a study done in the 1980s that found that men between 18-24 were most needle-shy and most likely to cry of all adults. I believe over 10% had that reaction, and it was a little lower for men 25-34, and constant at about 5% for 35 and above, which is still a lot. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
