The literal translation is Commission of Irish Dancing so I suppose that can apply to any org/awarding body.
Comhdhail means Committee.
Cumman (as in CRN) means Association.......
So while in Irish dancing these words apply to different orgs they are very general and could be applied to many other institutions.
