I have most of the set dances at the most popular speeds on iTunes (search on my name in iTunes or CDBay.com) and other download sites for 99 cents. If you need a different speed you can order anything I’ve recorded at any speed you’d like from my site www.markarringtonmusic.com for $3. The music is in traditional Irish band style with fiddle, mandolin, guitar, whistle, and bodhran - no computer-generated instruments or effects. I’m playing all the instruments. The arrangements are varied in complexity: some, like Kilkenny Races have only guitar and fiddle, while some, like Youghal Harbor, have multiple harmonies and dynamics.

This year, as I did a few years back, I’m offering for **free** of some of the sets that are seldom danced to, in hopes that someone will want to give them a try! They’re beautiful, old, complex tunes that were popular years ago, and hopefully will be revived. Those are Youghal Harbor, Rodney’s Glory, Hurling Boys, Rub The Bag, and Miss Brown’s Fancy. This will be in the “Special Offer” section at the top of the Order Music page.

I also have my tutorial on “Understanding Timing in Irish Dance Music” for free. Hundreds of dancers have ordered this and found it helpful.
