A simple way to do the floors is either find some better ones or get some metal and pop-rivet them in the area that is bad, spot weld, bondo and cover with body schutz (that rubberized spray on goo). From underneath, it will look pretty stock. It is not the perfect fix, but will last for a number of years without costing a fortune in time. Even had a '65 Fury that had wood floors screwed in and for a $100 car, it did the trick.
