| Not really, I insured a 1988 Ford Stoner ambulance a couple of years ago. I put classic insurance on it. They stipulate that you don't drive it over 1000 miles a year and has to be driven for car shows or special events only, not for a daily driver. (NT) | Dan | 21:14:40 12/05/02 Thu |
- I pay $150.00 a year for 4 cars, full coverage, same as my daily drivers (NT) -- Hagerty has unlimited milage on all of its' policies......, 16:10:58 12/06/02 Fri
- Hi all, I used to have JC Taylor. Then I found out that at the time they wouldn't cover my cars unless I was physically with them at the time. In other words, in a restaurant, spending the night at a hotel, if they're out in the parking lot, they weren't cover. They may have changed this as it's been several years, but you might want to doublecheck. I've had Hagerty ever since, they were cheaper and had better covereage. Had a claim while my 58 Studebaker was parked downtown, their customer service was great. If I had had JC Taylor at the time, they wouldn't have covered it. Good luck.
