Wow! This topic certainly seems to have stirred the troops here, or at least their imaginations. The offer seems legit, especially since there is so little offered/promised. (You get what you pay for, if yer lucky.) Typical Hollywood promo.
What I think would be interesting is if this little group of CA fans would pool their resources and enable one of their own; i.e. an AMBASSADOR, so to speak, to represent them and meet the "ACTRESS." What a delight for all involved! I would, of course, be the first to offer financial backing to such a worthwhile enterprise, except for the unfortunate fact that I have no money.
On the other hand, dare I mention that I, personally, just happen to live in Southern California, a brief 2 hours from the glories that are TINSELTOWN!!
Also, a few years back I undertook to visit Burbank and attend an actual taping of the magnificent and very entertaining TONITE SHOW STARRING THE GREAT JAY LENO! thereby putting myself in close contact with the HOLLYWOOD GLITTERATI!
Far be it from me however, to even suggest that my own humble self could even dream to be a very qualified individual to be trusted with such an important task.
At such a time I can only paraphrase the late, great, Pat Paulson, who once said something very like:
"If nominated, I will not run;
If elected, I will not serve;
And if impeached, you will have to drag me out,
Kicking and screaming all the way!"
