Puckman is forgiven! Though I do think we'll be a little better than your forecast. I'd be disappointed if we weren't top 4 in the ECAC, and would think we'll be nationally ranked most of the year.

Also hoping football has a run, but the first few games are a gauntlet. Maybe if we keep the injuries to a dull roar...

Am also required to mention our rugby team, which is competing at a 1-AA level and was nationally ranked in 7's during the spring. Though not technically a varsity sport they are a program on a serious rise!

Injuries or lack of will be key vs last year's critical losses.

It reaches an almost comedic level that we are only talking about 1 may be 2 sports that potentially reach NCAA's this year. Is this the apex for a school like Colgate? It would be a shame if that were the case, but winning is winning. Maybe the new president will place a greater importance on that type of success once they are settled in and can get a clear idea of what is going on. AD's are paid to generate revenue and hire/retain good coaches, curious what the perception is. Once the importance of winning is clearly outlined, maybe steps will be put into place to get a better idea on what the next steps are.
