It starts with the administration, expectations have to to be set and met. Also, some of the student athletes are on scholarship, so expectations should be there as well. Seeing the AD is early in their tenure and hasn't been in a situation to actually let someone go, it will be interesting if the trigger is ever pulled. I imagine it is a lot different doing the firing instead of being one office over and having an opinion when the previous AD was there.

I imagine it would be hard to make those decisions when clearly there are personal relationships that would go in account, especially for those that a long tenure.

But business is business and it shouldn't matter. We all have jobs to do, simple as that.

Like everyone else, I am disappointed with all these losses. That said, last year the program was in a similar state and yet they did well enough over time and qualified for the PL tournament. That's a standard that everyone can strive for as the season progresses.

Go 'gate!
