last indian, it's difficult to believe that admin/fac care about what FB team 'gate schedules and I doubt any big contributor would overrule the AD and/or coach. Even if the leagues is the one that sets the schedule, I am positive they would listen to concerns and suggestions from any of the league AD's. 2016 will make three years in a row with poor home dates. 'gate80, are you afraid of playing CCSU? You do know they beat Colgate 24-22 at Kerr in 2005, right? And, what's wrong with Monmouth for a home game? Fordham played them this year and Lehigh plays them.

In 2012, Lehigh played both CCSU and Monmouth, went 10-1, and did not get an at-large bid to the FCS tournament because of strength of schedule. They do nothing for us and have a huge downside.

Agreed! A competitive schedule matters...even if it's on the road. My guess is Hunt would rather be on the road at Richmond and possibly lose than be at home vs. CCSU and possibly win.

Enough with Wagners, Monmouths, Marists, & CCSUs. Of course I would rather watch Colgate in person at home, but if we're willing to travel it could open up many great possibilities against perennial programs. And being the reigning PL champs wouldn't hurt our cause, that's for sure.

some here seem to think that a competitive schedule with "academic peers" and home games in Sept/Oct are mutually exclusive
