For the Lone Harranguer,
As usual there is more than one variables. Fordham hired a new coach, the picked up players from the exit of Hosftra from football, and importantly from several key transfer that came from UConn with coach Morehead. This year their QB is a transfer from Marshall.

No doubt that there are multiple factors involved, but the single biggest factor was hiring Morehead, just as hiring Dick Biddle turned around Colgate's fortunes in football. Some guys can coach and lead young men to accomplish great things and others can only coach.

I hope Colgate pursues transfers for football like Fordham did. There are undoubtedly many academically qualified players riding the pines at top colleges who would thrive at Colgate both on and off the field.

Hard to get credits transferring to Colgate if u took business or engineering courses. So kids go where they don't lose a semester .
