Subject: Congrats to Vicki on becoming a VP at Colgate

Talk about being entrepreneurial, blazing your own trail, or following your passion...Vicki is an embodiment of all of that. Like her mentor, Mark Murphy, she embodies everything that makes Colgate proud. Her stature in collegiate athletics nationally has grown in her three years on the job as AD
( including being on the Board of Overseers at Harvard ). She's obviously a hot commodity and it's great that Jill Harsin has the power to do everything to keep her at Gate. It's not clear if the Provost is a permanent vacancy or a temporary vacancy created by sabbatical. But, it seems like there's an important transition taking place in the leadership at 'Gate. And Vicki has risen to be a substantial player in the governance of the University.
