Subject: Ivies have been and will continue to be "home and home"

gate, you must be a recent grad. The Ivies are and will be "home and home" games/series. The FBS games are away games and generally provide a "payday" for the visiting FCS school. Both of these are unlikely to change. It's a question of "who" and "how often ?"

Let's get beyond the "Ivy-envy" syndrome. The law of supply and demand of available/desirable schools is "shaking out" and will take care of itself in the marketplace, over time. With careful guidance from the AD and football coaches, of course.

>Good riddance! They did nothing to help our SOS so
>let the Ivy League have them. Look forward to the day
>when the Ivies want US to play THEM, not the other way
>around...and even then, we would do the traveling.

Graduated almost 25 years ago and there's no Ivy envy here or else I would have gone to one. IMO with our transition to the PL, we needed the Ivies in fb a bit more than they needed us - until now. Perhaps due to proximity, Gate would play lowly Dartmouth (proximity?!), unimpressive (rival) Cornell, and sometimes a stronger Princeton team. I got the impression that playing Harvard for a change would mean the Raiders would have to travel b/c the Crimson would not.

Would prefer only one Ivy a season and instead play more from the CAA or have another trip to South Dakota. That would be travel time and money well spent - for now. And finally, UNH and Yale coming to Kerr...gotta make it count at home. So many close calls last season at Delaware, Albany and even Yale.
