There is undoubtedly going to be more of a crunch scheduling in the northeast in the future. More on Ivies than us.

Princeton's fortunes tend to be up and down, but it would be a shame to drop them from the schedule permanently. Their geographic location has always been trumpeted by 'Gate because the game down there puts us in a showcase in a great recruiting area. Showing our flag in the Garden State will help us overall and having them come to Hammy would be frosting on the cake.

My understanding is that Princeton has dropped us from their schedule, not the other way around. We would love to continue the series but the Tigers have shown no interest in renewing. Hopefully that changes in the future, as I agree they are both a traditional rival and a great showcase for us in NJ.

Yes. Princeton (specifically Gary Walters) dropped us. It is my understanding that this October's game will be the last between the schools for the forseeable future. Princeton will continue to play Lafayette and Lehigh, but our position on the schedule will be taken by Georgetown, Davidson or Marist. Very disappointing.

It must be because we win and make Princeton look bad. And Marist will not.
