Hi Out There!! Haven't been back to New York in over 30 years. Wondering about my old friends. I am especially looking for an old friend a year behind me, Jane Wilkinson. She had a sister a year ahead of me, Ellen Wilkinson and a younger brother. If any one knows the how to connect with Jane Wilkinson or her siblings, please let me know. I am living in Amado, Arizona which is south of Tucson. Have a horse ranch and one grown up daughter who lives in Chamonix, France. Have a grandson who is 5, Nicola, and a granddaughter due Dec. 6th of this year. Anyone from my graduating class of 1960 please contact me. Wish you all well, Lenore

Hi! I have recently found some old friends on the Web, but none from Mary Queen of Heaven, where I went to school between 1969 and 1973. My sister Lillian was there from 1967 to 1973. Does anyone remember the teachers like Sister Sean Ann, or the rotten Mrs. Reddy? Or the nuns who used to ring that gigantic bell between periods?

I went to MQH from first to eight grade. I graduated in 1972 and then attended St. Brendan's High School. I remember all my teachers from first grade on. I think my favorite was mrs cerchione in sixth grade I think. All three of my children attend Mary Queen of Heaven also about eight years ago we moved to Connecticut but I go back to MQH to visit often

Eileen, I totally remember your family. I was 2 years behind you and graduated in 1974. I have an older brother, Michael, 2 sisters, Maryellen (now age 50 ) and Christine age 52. I remember you were on my bus and were nice to me.
I also remember riding my bike over near your house (if i'm right there was a cool street that you could ride down a big driveway and go behind houses and up the other side onto the next street. I remember my friends and I rode really fast and it was the best place to ride. I also recall that you had long hair (lightish) and were pretty.
I also had Ms. Santangelo and Sr. Hildeguarde, who was ugly and mean. She hated my brother. Carolyn Chieco

I was in the first 2nd Grade Class at Mary Queen of Heaven. I attended PS 203 until Mary Queen of Heaven was built. Father Crawford was the Pastor. Sister Georgiana of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkhill was the Principal. I lived on East 51st Street between Avenues M and N until I got married in 1969 and moved to New Jersey where my husband was from. In 1972 we moved to Florida and I am now living in Vero Beach, Florida. I attended Catherine McAuley High School and was also the last class in Catholic Elementary School to take Regents examinations. Yes we took them in elementary school also back then and we also went by the Baltimore Catechism. Well I'd like to say Hi and if there is any history about the school or church e-mail me, maybe I can help.

I would love to hear from anyone from the Class of 1977 -- especially Sara Kosman. I attended Edward R. Murrow HS with Sara Kosman, Bernadette ______? and Ken Brady. I keep in touch with Lisa Piazza (who left MQH in 5th grade) who recently contacted Sean Farrell via the internet (I'm not sure how that came about). Sean is married with one child. I think Sara may have 4 children. Not sure. If anyone knows Sara, can you tell her about this message? Thanks.

I went to Mary Queen of Heaven Junior High around 84-85. Knew some people like Kathleen, Janine, Frankie, Castro, Roosevelt, Tina...I'm the guy from Costa Rica, used to breakdance (how embarassing). Anyway, I'm interested in seeing if anyone is still around, and what you're up to. Drop me a line at wrightinter@hotmail.com

hey people, Mary is not the queen of heaven, she is the queen of nothing. she was just Jesus's earth mother and even though she was good, she is still not the queen of heaven. i feel sorry for you, being taught all this is real, God Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the leaders of heaven. just tell me a verse in the bible that say's that mary is the queen of heaven, or that she is super holy, or anything like that, and i will be very surprised. you need to get out of that catholic stuff, i know you beleive it and all, but its not the truth. you must feel inside that it is wrong, despite all that you have been taught, just beleive your gut instinct. please.

Hello: I read your message and posted one of my own on the message board. I come from a large family and chances are you and/or your siblings attending MQH remember either me or one of my brothers/sisters. I'd love to hear from old friends. Your sister's name, Lillian (Piazza?) sounds familiar. Write back when you can. Happy New Year.

Hello to all. I attended MQH on Ave. M from Sept. 1964 to June 1972. I am one of the 10 Ahearn kids. I'd love to hear from people from the old school. I have often wondered about the whereabouts of people I knew, and along with two friends attempted a "renunion" about 10 years ago. It never took off. I am in contact with a couple of people (always was) and would love to hear from more. Please write back and tell me who you are still in touch with. Some of the teachers I had: Sister Clarentine (god bless her soul), Ms. Donnelly (and her private bathroom & stash), Sister Hilderguarde (the fish with the deep sea smile,) Mrs. Piccilo (gave me lifts in her Jacquar), Mrs. Riano (my Mom once clocked her so she stayed clear of me), Sister Madeline (pretty cool individual), Sister Vincent Ann (loved to pick on kids), Ms. Santangello (who is now married and I ran in to once about 10 years ago) and a whole lot more. I met my best friends (to this date) there and took a lot of good memories away with me. Happy New Year and look forward to hearing from you.
