Subject: SASAI Essay Writing Contest Results.

Recently, an essay writing contest was launched by SASAI designed to test the writing abilities, imaginations, English usage, grammar and composition of SAS students who are scholars of SASAI. We now have the results and the name of the winners. We would like to invite everyone, SAS Alumni or not, to read their essays. You will be very proud of these young people. The theme of the essay is "EDUCATION IS FREEDOM". To get to those essays, please visit this website: http://www.sasaiinc.org/essays. You can also go to the website by blocking the website using the left click of your mouse, and when fully blocked, right click and you will be given a menu list one of which is an option to go to the website. Otherwise, copy the website to your browser. Prizes will be awarded to the winners at a reception that will be tendered on March 26, 2014 (by an invitation only affair) by SASAI to honor the 1st (we call them pioneers)eight (8) SASAI scholars graduating at SAS High School this March 25, 2014. They started as SASAI scholars from 1st year to Graduation. Their scholarship were funded by RHW Foundation through the representation of an SAS Alumnae and her husband, Leonora Lucero Sprenger (from Farola) and Peter Sprenger. There is high expectation that 6 of the 8 graduating SASAI scholars would be on the honor roll. All of us at SASAI are keeping our fingers crossed, and really hoping that all of them will be in the honor roll. This, by invitation only reception, is also to honor the other remaining scholars (24) and their parents. BTW applications for SASAI scholarship is now in full swing. Those interested may approach Mr. Albert Bunoan, Field Director of the SASAI Field Team. He is based in Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.SASAI, for the 2nd year in a row, has beeen named as one of the "Great Non-Profit OPrganizations" for 2013.Thank you very much.
