Subject: Mang Pidz, thank you for sharing your experience with the place. University belt pay a kunkunada ditoy. Isun sa nga adu ti agcutcutting class idi ta adu iti pagbuyaan iti bomba hehehe. This is what makes this place a very interesting and a fun place. It is the center of Manila and I think it is safe to say that it is the heart and soul of Manila. Sure a lot of people visit the malls but this area is still by far busier than the malls. You would see here Filipinos from all walks of life and from all over the Philippines. Dagitay laeng siguro elitista iti saan nga umumay ditoy but the majority of Filipinos comes to this place. If you want to see daily life and social customs of Filipinos, this is the place especially at the big and colorful markets that dot this place. Places like Makati, The Fort and others that are on the high end do not represent the real Philippines I think.
In reply to: Pidz 's message, "During my teen days I had tried exploring all these places like China Town, Avenida, Sta. Cruz, Recto and the places nearby. I still remember Odeon, Podmon, Mayfair theatre to name a few. Adda pay pagbuyaan diay Ongpin idi nga "all the way", Dragon sa ti naganna.at my young age then, I tried to enter these places out of curiosity by trying to confuse the ticket issuer . Agtil-ayak ta kasla dakkelak kano. Hehehe. Iti pagbuyaak idi ket diay Palace Theatre, in a corner of Avenida. We had been staying in Cataluna st. near the UST and I walked from there all the way to China Town. I still remember a Theatre near Central market which name is Gala. Ti Usu pay la idi nga mabuya ket Sean Connery James Bond movies like "From Russia With Love. I think the PRBL (Philippine Rabbit) near Odeon Theatre is still existing nowadays. We premonade thru the underpass of Quiapo going to Raon exiting Rizal AVenue. Makapalaguip nga agpayso Apo ti napintas nga napalpalabas no makitak toy China Town." on Mon, May 06 2013
