Subject: Reunion

I returned home Sunday safe and sound from another great reunion. I marvel at our air travel because of the amount of time we save because of it. Instead of 18hrs drive time, I'm home in around three hours. Thanks to Wilbur and Orvil. Anyway, I too want to express my appreciation for our Association and the great reunions we have. This was my 4th reunion and I had a great time. I also want to thank all of you who do all you do for these reunions, for without your tireless work we would not have them. As one of thousands who served in the elite guard since it was established, I served in 69-70,I am proud of what we did. At the time I served in the guard, like so many, was young and did not realize what we had. I did obey my instructions and caused no waves any where I was stationed. Like so many in our era I went to Vietnam the very place I came in the Air Force to avoid. But today I am a blessed man to have served even in that theater and was blessed to have servived. But, the blessings are even more profound today because of the Sac Elite Guard Association that I am proud to be part of. So again THANKS to Rich and Tony and all who worked behind the scene to put this together. I am proud to be associated with all of you and am looking with anticipation to Washington D.C. next year.
