Subject: PACAF Elite Guard on original Hawaii Five-O episodes

While on furlough I watched some of the first season (as in 1968) of Hawaii Five-O on Netflix. The last two episodes of that year, titled 'Cocoon, Part one & Part two' had scenes with the PACAF Elite Guard. They were a burial detail early in the Part one and in Part two were providing security for a senior level intelligence official's aircraft; looked like a 707. The uniforms looked identical to ours, except of course for the PACAF shields. I did notice their aggulets were on the opposite side in the Part two episode. Regardless, was fun to show the family this high quality look. I thought I had once read on the SEGA website that a former SAC Elite Guardsman or Guardsmen were key contributors in standing up the PACAF Elite Guard, but I will have to re-look it when the new website stands up. Perhaps someone can advise.
