I know this is directed at another, but I wanted to answer because I know a lot about the subject.
If Stormare 4 Life lives in America or Canada, then it can't be viewed. DVDs and videotapes in Europe are recorded in PAL, and the American ones are NTSC. It's like the difference between Mac and PC software, you must buy the right kind for your machine.
DVDs are especially hard because they are encoded for various regions. With videotapes, you could buy one from Japan and play it in America, but with the Region system, they won't work. America and Canada is Region One, Western Europe is Region Two. It's supposed to stop people from getting videos of films not yet released in their own countries, but it seems to just punish people like us, who can't get films any other way!
There are ways around it, you can buy special DVD players that are "hacked", meaning someone has done work on the machine to where it will play any Region, but they are very hard to find, and are very expensive. It's not fair!!! I am working on hacking a DVD player that I have, but so far, no luck.
