Was in DMU myself, my situation a little different however, I was already working when my license was placed on probation and i had a lawyer fighting for me. The hosp. I worked for also supported me as I had excellent reviews and my current supervisor was a graduate of "the program".
Many in my IPP group were in same situation as you and found work in dialysis(no narcs)if you haven't tried there do so they seem to be more forgiving than the tertiary centers, LTC also might be an option.
Go to Real Recovering Nurses site also found on Voy network, more sound advice w/o the recommendation of AA/NA.
Good Luck, believe me this will pass I know I graduated and am still employed as an RN!
