If you are practicing the program of recovery and have gotten to the eight & ninth step, you probably already know the answer to what you need to do. We pay consequences for the actions that we take and they have a way of catching up to us if we don't right the wrongs. We have to be able to face the fact, and realize that what happens is going to happen because we aren't in control anymore. Remember that by being truthful, you are taking a step in the right direction, and are accepting responsibility for your own actions. We have to be honest in all of our actions, and this may be the time for you to do just that. Talk to your sponsor, and they can help to guide you through this endeavor.
