>exp.any suggestions? Thank you.
I also am a registered nurse in recovery. At this time in my recovery I choose to not work as a nurse. However my sponsor and many other nurses in recovery that I know work in dialysis or behavioral health. Their experience has been many interviews, on nurse shared with me that it took her about 20 interviews before she got hired in behavioral health. I live in Illinois , Davita is a dialysis company that is nation wide they have many outpatient facilities. In my area they hire many recovering addict nurses. No narcotics are on site. You can apply online. It has been my experience that honesty is a must. I hope you arein a recovery program. It has changed my life. Also a lot of recovering nurses I know worked in non-nursing jobs until their probation was over. If you really have a passion for nursing, dont give up, just know your limititations as far as your using goes and DO NOT take a job that can place your recovery at risk.
