I meant to post this before but probably got distracted and forgot to complete the quote. It is attributed to the nuclear physicist and Nobel Prize winner, Steven Weinberg, but I am sure I remember a similar thought years ago when I was struggling to decide to no longer pretend to adhere to my parents religion.
